Built to Last
The 15th Year
The first day of surgeries is kicking off here in Huehuetenango! 2020 is the 15th anniversary of Iowa MOST. We have been reflecting on the many people who have contributed to our success over the years. We are grateful for all those who have come before us. We are also lucky to have some who have been here every step of the way. The future success of the mission depends on people continuing to build on such a strong foundation, and to be open to the strong connections that are possible here through the interwoven community we have built around responding to the needs of the surrounding communities.
Most of all, we think of the wonderful relationships that has been the engine of Iowa MOST. Thank you to all of you: Club Rotario de Huehuetenango, volunteers, Rotary District 6000, medical professionals, Casa Colobri and Juan Francisco Fernandez, Hospital de Especialdades Salus 1 and Salus 2, generous donors who have give both financial support and in-kind support, the board of Iowa MOST, the Guatamalteca families who have put their faith in Iowa MOST, and friend and families who have shown such amazing support!
